Glucosamine Chondroitin Supplements are substances found naturally in the body. Glucosamine possesses antiarthrosic-arthrotrophic activities. It stimulates the anabolic metabolism of osteo-cartilagineous tissues via stimulation of the biosynthesis of the mucopolysaccharides (which are the essential components of the cartilage ground-substances) and of the bone mesenchymal tissues.

Glucosamine also acts to improve the viscocity of synovial fluid by increasing synovial fluid production, thereby providing lubricant activity. Chondroitin Sulphate could potentially slow the degeneration of the articular cartilage.
